How does one get a membership of a political party?
Forget if you're ideologically fit. There's no stringent acid test to prove for your efficiency or integrity.
It's hugely simple actually: You have to just shell out 50,000 bucks to qualify for its membership. And it's for lifetime.
The party referred to here is India's - Bengal's, to be more specific - Trinamool Congress run by Ms. Mamata Banerjee, already a controversial figure, for her ideas and actions. which are no less controversial.
Now, do you know of any party in India or world which has such a strange policy of membership?
What's your take on it?
